This is a really tough problem. As a senior citizen I have benefited greatly in free health care and so has my wife. The cost of her heart problems and diabetes would be devastating financially. Other countries such as Canada and Australia have socialized medicine and all is not well. There are long waits to get needed operations. Often these citizens have to go to other countries and pay for operations out of their own pocket in order to get the care they need.
Medical care and prescriptions are very expensive.

Sometimes seniors have to decide between eating or getting their medicines. Medical care is also extremely expensive for the working class. Often families have to go without needed care because they just can’t afford care or medical insurance. Being self employed most of my working life our family seldom had coverage.

This problem needs to be solved from many directions. What are some ideas you have to make health care available to all at a price they can afford?
